Creepy...In a Good Way
Everything about this was great, and I loved the final product from all the different programs you used for it; I can only imagine how much a nightmare that must have been.
Not only was the audio good quality, but the eerie silence along with the sudden screams just blended perfectly with the music for that macabre feel; you made it dark without crossing into that threshold of disgustingly grotesque, which I can really appreciate.
I've already watched this several times over just to catch the smaller details, but what I really liked the, for lack of a better word, "pop-out-book" feel of it. The layering of everything brought to mind a Gothic puppet show using paper cut-outs or marionettes. The duality of the two different worlds was used to full effect, those few pivotal seconds of the opening creating an almost picturesque place, helping to darken the rest of the movie by ripping that away from the audience. Great work and I hope to see more.
What other animations should strive for.
Dark, passionate and emotional. Some of the best audio and visual quality that I have seen on here. Amazing work I hope more artists including me do more animations this professional. This is the first time I ever had the need to review something. It was that good.
