Reviews for "Infinite Tower RPG"

Thanks for the paladin class!

It actually made it so much easier to play with as a paladin, by other classes I could only reach 367 as a earlier reviewer said, even with the best planning. With the paladin, I reached floor 392 with the best I could do, my only complaint I have for this RPG is that... well, you don't get to do much, nor do you see much change apart from background and damage numbers. Maybe try making a different kind of RPG that's a bit more interactive (even a sprite based RPG can succeed if you check Newgrounds).

All the same, great game!

Nostalgia Bomb

Reminded me of games of yore. Before everything was flashy and relfex based. A time of strategy and luck.

I'll admit, I'm a graphics whore so when I first saw the game I had low expectations. But that aside, I actually had fun playing this. Once I got past level 300 I couldn't just wing it anymore and had to pay attention to the stats of the monsters I was going up against.

Didn't do too bad in the end, either. I died at level 78 on floor 585.

Hope to see the game reworked a little bit so that battles are maybe a little more interactive, or more variety in the monster types. My only big issue is that after floor 350 it takes FOREVER to get to a shop. Like, painfully long.

hmm

I would like to see the upgrade system getting upgraded. Do something about the appearance or something.
Also, I killed a monster with 1 hp left at lvl 381 :D

Niice !

only probleme is i cheated :D named my character charliesheen 8-)

Strategic fun, but repetitive

I think some people need to consider that not all games are reflex/action games. This is a strategy game and a pretty fun one at that. The stats were kinda generic, but they work nonetheless. It gets pretty difficult later on and after playing a few times I changed up my strategy a bit. It's good when a game requires a user to make up strategies, even if just stat building and buying equipment.
This game is more like setting up your side of the field and watching how well it plays out. I personally like it. You get all the time in the world to plan out what you're going to do and can just watch it happen after.
There are some things that could be added, though. Most notably enemies. More enemies would've definitely have kept things a bit more interesting for a while. The same few enemies over and over got pretty monotonous. Some new twists to the generic stat formula would've been cool as well.
Fun game - takes a lot of strategy. It's almost like a card game. More wouldn't hurt.
