GOOD, BUT...

this game is kinda hard. you should have givien the player a couple days to get on their feet before being invaded...

Skudge responds:

It is possible to survive. Just build houses right away. Though if needed I suppose I can fix this...

This game needs inprovements

I started on day one got everyone building houses and they died on day 2.

Skudge responds:

I believe I have fixed this now.

FANTASTIC!

I've been considering learning flash for awhile now so that I could post better strategy games on here. Tower Defense is okay the first hundred times but that is about it. Until THIS! Fantastic to see a step in the right direction.

Ultimately it just needs some fleshing out. The building of houses, statues, and...erm...outhouses. Could possibly be represented on the little town view. You should have options to reduce the amount of nightly raids (attacking raiding camps, building walls, etc.), and an end game would be nice. However it is a SUPER start. My hats are all off to you.

Skudge responds:

I'm glad you like it! Your suggestions have been noted :)

It's a great game. The idea of the worker layout: +1. Graphics fit the mood of the game: +0.5. Good music choice: +0.5. After some time, you pile on resources and people, having nothing to do: -1. Time well spent: +1. Good variety in people, options: +1.5, but a few flaws (1.5 -> 1).
A sequel or an update would be a great idea. It would improve the game's rating capacity.

The game had good music and the layout was pretty nice. It proved surprisingly fun, though I realized after I had around 55 people that the game is unwinnable, which was disappointing. I would love a sequel, though I just stumbled upon it and it was made last year. The resource collecting seems well-balanced. Perhaps the sequel could have the builders with their own statistic (right now it is hard to tell how many builders are there) and independent projects as well as missions or fighting other towns. Win a by having 300 people and no enemies/no one else in sight? Maybe that seems a bit too much?
