Reviews for "Bed and Breakfast 2"

Replay takes me to the wrong spot.

When you click on Replay, you should go to the very start of the day... the shop, not to the Bed and Breakfast itself.

See, I bought a bar and a bartender assuming this would be a pretty big draw for money. Turns out, only like 3 people use the bar all day. So I lost the level. But it wasn't my fault... how was I suppose to know this game takes place in Mormon town?

So I clicked Replay... but what's the point of that? It took me back to the game after I had already bought the bar and the bartender... so I just lost all over again. In fact, it's now impossible for me to win. So why even let me replay? Just to watch me lose again? There is nothing I can do to change the outcome... except hold out and hope the game screws up and delivers me 10x the amount of drunks in a day.

Instead, Replay should give me my money back and take me to the store... allowing me to choose new items to buy. If your worried about the score-board, then give me a seperate score and clear it out upon restart.

At the very, very least... I should at least go back to the store, even if you keep my bar money... and let me try to buy new things. After all, I was only off by a few hundred dollars. Maybe a piano player or a picture would draw in enough people to let me survive. Even though I had the money, there was zero option for me to spend it.

Now I have to restart, which is a bit annoying and really not worth the effort.

Hmm...

This game is clearly well made, however, there are some really big issues, which have been mentioned in previous reviews.
I once lost the game because no-one showed up for over half the day, so I couldn't even make nearly enough money to progress.

In my opinion, each day should last longer, as in some cases it's almost impossible to reach the target in the time. In particular when the target is high, and you have little money left over because of upgrades. This is quite a big issue, and makes the game become frustrating, rather than fun.

I found the game fairly unappealing.

There was just no mechanic that especially caught my attention. It was all functional, but there was no cool music, gameplay, graphics. Didn't draw me in.

Good game, but a single problem destroys it!

It's a good game. I really liked it. And actually a good grade would have been in order. That is, if it hadn't been for one problem: you don't know what you die to.

Time after time, I keep getting a Game Over screen when I've built a lot, and hired people to do most of the work for me. I suppose there's someone getting angry, which is the problem, but I don't know who what or where. That destroys the entire gameplay for me...

Oh, and zoom or allowinh the user to view more in full screen or enlarged version would have been great... the scrolling is real slow and I was really longing for a better way to keep in everything in check.

Well ...

The graphics are allright, the music is allright, everything is just ... allright. Sadly, the game doesn't stay entertaining for long. It lacks a proper story or at least some kind of awesome reward. When you start hiring people, the game becomes all about clicking the desk (and the parking lot, which strangely enough is the only thing you can't hire someone to do) ... Also, there is nothing to do after you've purchased everything (which doesn't take nearly long enough).
