game jam

I get that game jam is a fun concept and its "good" for a game made in under 72 hours. but as someone who likes games with a little more thought and work behind them, the flood of this type of quick game is really frustrating. The front page is filled with them! How many programmers and game makers who put alot of time and effort into making a good game get pushed out of the spot light for this game jam gimmick? I'm not bashing this game, its good for what it is, but I don't like whats going on here...

the game its really awesome but i kinda like more to mash a button (key) then just holding down the mouse button and wan y taped kinda fast the bug kinda bug Lol
but really the bug gets stock n' that the only deal whit that but
overall nice "shmup"

It was made in three days, right? This was a thrill to behold in Full-Screen Mode, and the formation concept is something that will be ripped off by everyone else who sees it in action. Might as well take the hint and see if this can become a shooter with tons of levels, faster pace, or what have you.

Congratulations. This is likely the best of the crop from NG Game Jam 3.
