Another great Game Jam game
The artwork is fantastic in this, as well as the gameplay. I kinda wish you guys would of stuck more with the theme though, like the guy below me said, this seems more like a space shooter. It's still good either way, great job!

The way you made the game was basically like you decided you wanted to make a spaceshooter and just worked around the theme with a simple little drawing at the beginning and end.
Still, it's a fun game, and the formations and the enemeies creating barriers were unique. Good job.

but it was missing two things that cost you a point each, a mute button (because the music is annoying as hell) and a pause button because the game is quite long.

I love this game! I think you've taken a pretty original approach to the theme "Ladybugs knocking over.." etc. Also, a very good sound track and good graphics.
Only improvement I would like to see is a scoring system. So when you die, you can still see how far you've come, based on the score you have. It also put more purpose in shooting down EVERYTHING in sight. Instead of just letting some things slide, because there is no merit in shooting them down.
It would also make me play it again, and again. Because I have trouble completing all the stages and now I'm just fed up with starting it again, since there is no 'reward' when you die half-way. Just the medals when beating an 'endboss'.
