While this game did have a strong immersion factor, some of the units seemed redundant after a while, soldiers seemed to take up most of the slots, as they were the most beneficial, all the others were useful to a point but eventually they became deadweights, same goes with the buildings, useful to a point, imo there should be more options for strategical defence.
But on the whole, amazing job =D
Brilliant
Beat it in 66 days on normal mode, great game, brilliant graphics (for their purpose) and although somewhat an unoriginal idea you executed it perfectly. One small recommendation would be the inclusion of a small mini-game where you can shoot/kill the zombies during the invasion sequences. Adding the option for players to skip if they want. This may help in expanding your possible audience and giving the game a slightly more complete feel.
Best game in a long while
like the title says, this game is definetely worthy of that title. I kind of expected it go on forever but then suddenly I realised that the world is flat and it just ends. Glad this game had an ending, otherwise there wouldn't be a proper goal for this game and that would ruin it. Full marks from me.
