Pretty good animation, understanded almost all but
OK i understood nearing all of it except this one thing. was the bird possesed from the start or did it eventually get ppossesed?

The bird was already possessed a small amount but it's obsession grew over the years they were together and it became a little too greedy in the end.
Good Interpretation
I really liked this one - yes, the plot line was a bit confusing at first, but the description fixed that. I'd say it'd be worth your time to turn this into a full fledged animation. If you can do shadows for the boy's hair in the short amount of time you had, it must be crazy what you could do with a week.

I liked it at first, until the end, it made very little sense. Also why was he sleeping in the rain lol, isnt that what he has a tent for?

The tent was full, these scouts were underprepared and loved mother nature.

Subpar animation, horrible sound mixing...
the story was... interesting, but ultimatly made little to no sense. Why was the bird crying in the end? Heck, what was the motive for the bird killing him? I should read the story by Milburn.
regardless, you could have at LEAST fixed the sound transition and I have seen better art/ animation/directing in these 48 hour flashes.

The stories have to be modified to save time. The bird was possessed so he killed the boy. I have posted the ending of the story here, but the whole story can be found in the forums. Yes there might be better art but are those animation 4 minutes long?
