Trial and error.

I didn't passed through the lasers because it was too much trial and error. Play game till it reaches point the boss does X. Die. Now you what exactly is X so you know how to survive X. Now play again till you reach point just next to X. Die again...
Why bother making it a 'shooter boss fight' if it plays the same as a 'guess a sequence of random numbers'?

trial and error is just epic fail in these kinds of games. it's all or nutin. fuck the girl or get fucked by a queer. these games demand HP or shields or somekind of power up to make it more bearable. the starting over from scratch is just not cool.
