Not worth a second try.
I get that you were working with a time limit, but couldn't you make some kind of save or checkpoint system somewhere? It sucks having to start over from the beginning when you're 3/4 of the way through.

Overall the game is great. The only thing I would change would be to add in some checkpoints. It really suck when you die and have to start all over from the beginning.
Potential
It has a very arcade feel that is only amplified by the gameboy type music, It needs some fixing and the fight with the dragons could be a bit more such as it haveing diffrent attacks or show up on both the right and left.
