Mixed feelings

The graphics and concepts make this a good game but the fact that when you walk, its like sliding on ice that kinda take the fun out of it. I would have given this game at least a 9 if it wasn't for the movement. The random traps (springs beneath spikes...etc) is a great idea that challenges all...but that movement....That's cuts it for me. Hopefully you make another with the movement normal.

"How does that Mario fellow make it look so easy?"

Actually, the controls aren't THAT bad. I only had a few mishaps which didn't seem to lead to much trouble since umm...I had over 50 lives. Seriously, you people... This is probably nothing more than the gap between your finger coordination and the game's physics. Once you get use to them, they should be alright.

I, for one, have had a jamming good time, whomping enemies and eating so much cake. I'm going to go back and do some more. Why not? It's fun. Granted, getting the jump right on the enemy isn't always that easy, but you DO have a ton of lives, do you not?

This game just plain out sucks.

Flaws, flaws, flaws. The gameplay is unoriginal, the music is the generic, calm shit that you get from sidescrolling platformers like these commonly found on Newgrounds.

The fact that you die simply by walking into an unmoving enemy is retarded - killing the shotgun guy is nearly impossible. The spring right underneath the spikes in the first level is just completely fucking retarded to be honest. It's not challenging, it's frustrating.

Please, learn how to make games before making another. This is horrible, I have NO idea how it got to the front page.

meh

kinda fun, but the control just ruin it in the end. While fighting the first boss he grabbed me and my guy died, then his falling corpse passed through the floor and I couldn't respawn. For some reason, too, several of the times when I would jump on the heads of guys with guns I would instantly die. No indication that they fired, and I would be centered above them, but about 25% of the time it would result in death. Maybe just me, I dunno. Has potential though.

Good idea, but riddled with issues

The idea behind this game is good, and the control scheme seems simple enough. However, there are several flaws that I need to point out. First, the controls seem a little dodgy and can be hard to get used to. Second, the fights, especially against the boss and the shotgunners, can be difficult (or annoying at the very least) due to the lack of a respawn invulnerability (especially against the boss) and their ability to seemingly bypass cover (ducking below a stairway would make one think that they couldn't get hit with a shotgun blast, but it was a shallow stairway).
My main issue, however, is that I seemed to completely skip an area just because an enemy had knocked me back into a wall. I don't quite remember exactly where this was, but you might want to check the goal areas one each map just to make sure there aren't any quick ways to bypass entire levels.
All of that aside, this game isn't too bad, though a bit more of a story (and maybe a better description of the damage system) might benefit this game.
