Yea this was good, the way I see it its just a short clip to show the hard work of a man to create something that goes totally unnoticed by the population. Its the people who you don't see nor hear of but that actually contribute something to society. Or it could be how this guy gives away his whole life to create something which isn't even alive itself, therefore the name lifeless. This is nothing too fancy but I like it.

The only thing I would truly say about it is that I wish it was longer. I was getting so sucked in, I was ready for a big climax. But, I did like the message, it was awesomely ironic, and you did a great job animating it! Simple, yet artistic. The geometric shapes gave it a very new-age style, and the sepia toning really added to the creepiness. Heh, I was playing Amnesia: The Dark Decent before watching this, It immediately got me sucked into this animation. xD But I digress. Wish it was longer, but I really liked it. :D keep it up!
Yeah I agree that I could have pushed it further. I started rushing towards the end, and I ended up cutting off the ending I originally had in mind for something more tragic that I thought be make it more memorable, so that's the main reason it gives off that vibe.
a poem?
the art and animation is amazing, and you have a good music choice. however the story is a little short and confusing. It seemed more like a visual poem then a "movie" or "cartoon" or whatever. which I guess is what you were going for, but it wasn't really my cup of tea. good job though the quality is great.
I wanted to make something more open ended this time around because that seemed to be some people's problem with my last cartoon. My goal was to create something that would make you think.

as an artist, i honestly feel like i should be respecting this. my only problem is i can't follow it.
(now mind you, i'm not bashing you, i'm just pointing out the things that threw me off) your transition in time was the most sketchy; first, you had the pictures of the guy getting older in the film reel so it felt kind of pointless to say 'years later'. second, it was confusing to go to that years later type of deal when who or when or what hasn't been clearly established. now if that's what you wanted, great, makes people think......i don't like thinking >: (
overall, i liked it. your art style was different and new, story and concept were interesting, and above all your animation skills look worthy of making you a note worthy newgrounds flash artist. i'd love to see what else you can do!
