Reviews for "Planet Defense 1"

wow that comet is hard!

IOnteresting game but a bit hard

rocket blast pushs back station half a screen away

The game gets more frustrating later on.
the rocket blast pushes back stations half a screen away, and it does damage to your space crafts
what does the Boaston thing do?

Weird bug

I really enjoy this game, though there's a weird problem with the rocket ships (s500-autocrat). It shoots down the other ships, mid-wave.

Good game, but repetitive

It gets too eazy and repetitive after a while.
The ships are decently balenced once you realize what they're for!
To all who think the last 2 ships suck: they are NOT meant to be a defence line near planet earth! The rocket ship is an excellent measure to take down a comet (3 shots and the comet is down, giving you more money than the rocket ship costs, so it's cost effective) and after that it's good to scatter oncoming comets.

The last ship IS great: it's meant to scatter incoming comets, making it nearly impossible for them to penetrate your planet defences (which should consist of the 1st 3 ships). Most cost effective way to manage those is to put a couple of bastions spread out, and once in a while put a heal ship next to them (that will get destroyed sooner or later though)

Gets really hard, but I like it

The whole point of not being able to reposition/sell turrets, is intentional I think.
Same with friendly fire.

It makes you think about where to place the turrets. Do I place em close to eachother, with the risk of losing them in friendly fire, but easier to heal.
Or do I put them far away, with higher risk of meteors crashing into them.

I was however, expecting more from the bastion, the latest turret.

A nice, addictive game, ready for a sequel. ;-)
