Truly hardcore, but the mechanics (mostly jumping and ledges) are subpar.
If they were properly set, this would be a great game. It brings memories back from the real nintendo hard videogames.

They werent kidding about the collision detection and faulty jumping, I usually try to finish every game before I do a review but the bugs make me want to punch a hole in my monitor, I think I'll refrain and maybe try again when I want to kill a good mood.

Wasted my time on a game with poor control all the way to sector 15 to find out that medal doesn't work.
Troublesome.
The game is nice and all, but its also pretty damn frustating.
The 2 things that pisses me off the most are:
1. most of the time, when i jump to one of those small platforms, right in the middle, i magically fall down and die.
2. sometimes (uncommonly), the guy just decides to run off a platform, even when im not pressing the button.
Those 2 pretty much made the game night impossible for me.
Other than that, good game, concept and music. 5/10.

medal for 3000 crystals actually takes 5000. glitchy jumping: falling from great height while holding jump sometimes causes to do very short hop, running off ledge while jumping sometimes causes shorter hop.
made me rage quite a bit, especially the medal because i suicide after i hit 3000.
