Reviews for "The Snow Runs Red"

decent game

but isnt there an end to kids greed? imean i killed till lvl 26, lvl after the medal it still continues. and theres no high score system to the game so ijust stopped playing xD great concept though.

Fun game, give ideas or quibbles

Kinda easy. Ideas for a possible sequel. More and tougher kids. Maybe a few boss kids. Weapons are fun but perhaps more Christmas related. Instead of mines exploding toys. Finally upgrade the gun itself or different types. I saw one kid carrying a candy cane, Ms Clause herself should pack something like that, work your way up ect.

got to level 36..

then i wanted to claw my eyes at out the fact that i didn't know whether or not there was an actual ending

I have some things to say

Let me start them:

1. Kids, kids everywhere!

2. Jews, jews everywhere!

3. Blood, blood everywhere!

4. Fats, fats everywhere!

5. Item to increase Tree's life, item to increase Tree's life anywhere!

6. The last one is the most important. You see, I don't know if it would make things harder to the player if there wasn't any tree upgrade item, but it doesn't. It just makes things more annoying. I passed throw 10 levels without a tree, and when I let those kids killed me, I came back and the tree was healed, but it didn't last more than a round, and when I finished the said level, I gained another life. That was enough, I said "F*ck this". And closed the window. Without a tree upgrade, I went to Level 37. If it was a tree upgrade, well, I would probably go further, or not, since you would probably make the kids harder to kill or a new enemy, like kids with guns. So yeah, the game is good, 10 stars to you.

Not bad for a Smash TV clone

Considering this is basically Smash TV (without the same production values) it's pretty good. I really didn't like the 8-way firing, felt it should have been 16-way at least. Presents = weapon power-ups was cool, and I liked the combined task of having to defend the tree and shoot the kids. Graphics were ok, title page especially cool, in-game it got a lot more blurred and messy though. Music was fitting. Enjoyed the upgrade system too, but once I had died I didn't feel like trying again as I felt I'd seen all there was it had to offer.
