it was... interesting
Well the animation wasn't that great, but I think this did show some potential. The jokes weren't very original, but someone who likes slap stick comedy may appreciate this video.

a few bits were funny
Yeah I don't really understand what was funny about this, unless there's some hidden joke in this. There were a few bits that were kind of funny but not exactly laugh in real life funny. It relied too much of being "spontaneous" or "random" unless I'm missing some references.
Facial expressions were good I think, especially for the genre. Animation just needs a bit more work, it was a bit slow at scenes that were meant to be quick.

Okay, well if you don't like spontaneous, I don't think our series is for you, but we will be focusing more on a solid storyline in later episodes.
And I'm glad you praised the facial expressions, that was what I hoped people would like.

I would say that the humor is about right and it COULD be funny. In most of the parts you exaggerated too much. Work on your artwork, animation skills and some parts of the "script", then this would definitely get a higher score.

i don't find him classically generic, but i suppose the whole idea was a little generic, it seems like they're have been lots of flashes and stories, about some ordinary poorly drawn characters with that big :D face going around having the world against them and then doing random things that all seem to be not so random anymore. I think this is like the 100th cartoon i've seen someone fly by some outrageous means to the moon or some planet to fight some random enemy on a planet or other worldy area, i dono, nice you put the time into it, but doesn't seem front page worthy

I wasn't to thrilled with the back to back 4chan and internet mimi's references but I suppose it was some what humorous.
