Reviews for "The Guardian Chapter 2"

Very good, but...

I haven't had the movement glitch the others did. maybe its there computers versions of flash or browsers lol. but You forgot to mention the pub in your walkthrough. not a terrible thing. but it took my dumb ass quite a while to figure out lol.

Thanks for the review. The movement glitch is not the game. Its something that is very common when playing an as2 game. If you moving and manage to click outside of the box your character will continue to move in that direction until you click on the box again.

Definitely a big flash game.

Lots of content here. Haven't played it all yet. Honestly I'm just getting started. It's definitely a big improvement on the last one. I have noticed a few glitches though, and the game is a bit laggy depending on the size of the area. One glitch I found was the appearance of arrows before I had a bow to use them. Enemies, rocks, and bushes dropped arrows which disappeared when I collected them because there was no bow. An arrow was actually the first thing I ever picked up. I was a bit confused. They appear all the time and I still don't have the bow yet. Another weird glitch that seemed to happen when lag was really bad was a weird glitch with a rock. I picked up a rock, then as the character was going through the rock throwing animation, countless rocks started flying out. By the time the rock throwing animation was finished, I had thrown enough rocks that I got about 15 bombs, several arrows, and enough money to buy the first armor upgrade. It only happened once, and the game was lagging terribly at that one point for some reason. Those glitches were mostly harmless, though the arrow drop is annoying since it could have dropped something I can use. There was one harmful glitch I found though. It has to do with the game detecting my going through a door, and its detecting that I was in range of reading a sign. Both of these are big issues, though not necessarily glitches. I'll often find myself rolling past a door and I suddenly go inside though I didn't go through it, just past it. I've often found myself pressing "a" to roll when I'm nowhere near a person, yet it still says I can talk to them, and does so, then proceeds to allow me to roll. If you hold down the roll button and roll into an area where you can talk, the person will begin talking, and the same goes for signs. The way these issues can cause a harmful glitch is if you roll past a door into a sign. I rolled past a door and into a sign, and the game tried to go into the house and make me read the sign at the same time. I appeared in the house with the dialogue from the sign up, and was unable to make the dialogue go away, since the sign wasn't in the room. I couldn't move, so I couldn't leave the room. The game was essentially frozen. Fortunately, I could close the game and reenter it by loading the game from the start menu, which got rid of the dialogue. Still, I think it's pretty bad if it totally freezes the game.

Aside from the few glitches, this is a wonderful game. Lots of content and lasts quite a while. I can tell LoZ: Wind Waker played a big part in the inspiration of this game. I look forward to completing this, and to any future titles from you.

Good but there is a problem

It was fun up until the final dungeon when I saved and quit to remove the lag. When I reloaded all my keys were gone.

GRRRR!

Its a great game,I love it. I just wish I could find a walkthrough that didnt only have the final dungeon! Im on the second dungeon and I cant figure out what to do and it sucks! PLEASE someone make or find a decent walkthrough for this game.

Nice game but...

It keeps following the whole Legend of Zelda scenario and the controls kind of lag when you're fighting making it frustrating
