not bad

Pretty simple fun concept. I wish the game would pause when your pointer went off the screen. Some of the levels are intense and your pointer is going all over the place id go off the screen too often and would get gang rapped by the enemies i had on my tail.

Thanks for the feedback. Let me repost something I shared with another player mentioning the screen edge problems:

"As far as screen edges issues go well there actually isn't a lot I can do. It is far to jarring to pause the game if the mouse hits the edge because it happens a lot and would lead to an equally frustrating experience for the player. Since this game is a mouse skills type game at heart avoiding the screen edges as well as the obstacles are all part of the challenge. Sorry I don't have a better solution. Flash games often have issues with game screen edges because the flash player doesn't allow us to lock the mouse. "

Somewhat Decent

The game concept was interesting enough, its always nice to get something unique.

Im surprised of as to how many medals this game has! definitely a shocker.

The game however has somewhat lousy music (not because its classic music that's about 8-bit but because its such a short loop and gets repetitive and annoying easily)

So as an overall the music needs work, color schemes would be nice (only having red can be .... an annoyance) and the character could probably use a faster speed to catch up with the mouse a bit more. Difficulties would be nice too.

Yeah the red-heavy palette was a risky decision for sure. I dig it but I can see how it might grate on some. Sorry the music got old for ya but what can I do? :D Thanks for leaving your thoughts though about the control speed. As far as number of medals.. well it was my first game ever with medals so I thought it would be fun to go all out for the players here. I spent a lot of time thinking about them, implementing them, and testing them. Thanks again!

Okay

Really enjoyed it, for the first few minutes. Far too repetitive and I feel really sorry for those that bitched about the difficulty, it was fairly easy.

I have to admit, I really respect what you tried to do, the concept of this is just awsome, but could use a bit more work. The song got tiring quick, and though the graphics were on track, playing in the same background sucked.

Like I said before, I respect what you tried to do with this game(and it isn't really that bad a game) but could seriously use a lot more work.

HUD and "How To" hinder the game

It's pretty fun, but the HUD is terrible.
When playing the game, when do you have time to look at the bottom of the screen? Never. The health should be displayed on or near the character, like if it got more beat up the more damage you take.
Also, the "How To" was overwhelming and chaotic, since the information kept changing, and there was a lot of it, and you couldn't pause it.
So overall, solid effort, but loses points for the interface.
