not bad

For the short it was, it was decent. A quick, short bit for halloween was expected and you delivered that.

The execution in this flash was alright for the most part, but the voice over was pretty awful. I almost turned it off because of that. I would say there are a lot of generic, cliche scenes, but its a short for halloween so that's understandable. Those things aside, there were some nice effects in here and I have noticed you have been getting better, so that's good. Just keep practicing and what not, and don't be afraid to step out of that style of yours.

Wonderful animation and very interesting story.
My problem is that the voice acting came in with a tiny bit of static from background noise. And the Dialog was just horrible, and seemed kinda flat. It just needs work thats all. The dialog felt like it wasnt real and made me cringe. Next time let other people look at the dialog, thats what you need the most help with. If you know any professional writers let them take a look at it and see what changes they would make. I would gladly look at it, but after a negative review im sure you hate me.
Just dont give up keeping working at it and Im sure next time i will be floored by something amazing you make.

lol don't worry, I don't hate your review, yes this was indeed my first time voice acting, I'm still very new at it. Also I'm not that great at doing impersonations of other people, I really appreciate you making this review and I will next time indeed show my voice clip to someone else so that they can look over and see the faults of it. :]

Really liked the concept and it would be cool to see it go somewhere with the story. If not, there could be more misticism to imply the unexisting background (which isn't always easy to achieve, but when it's good it's great).

The voice acting by itself wasn't bad, but you could do a few things to hide the bad quality of the mic, like recording a bit longer before and after you talk (so you can edit the clicks out) and record a lot of white noise to fill the silence parts and blend them with the voiceovers, and also progressively turn down the volume of the silence so it isn't too apparent.

I could write more tips, but I doubt it would be fit for a short review, keep at it and you will eventually become a really big deal.

honestly

It was kinda bad. I'm sure people will hate this review for being so negative, but there was absolutely nothing impressive or exemplary about this piece. The writing was cliche, the voice acting just okay, the animation was smooth but poorly drawn and I couldn't help but laugh at a personification of teenage angst played so straight.
