Just short of being "teh awsum"
Zombies. This game already has my attention.
Pretty much a great game overall. The concept is simple: bullets, wood, and bodies - put em together, blow up some bridges, and kill all the zombie. The tutorial is fun, and the random maps are also good. I'd stay away from most of the customized maps; many of them tend to the rediculous.
There are some things keeping this game from being great. The response time of the survivors is rediculously slow. They'll stand there like deer in headlights for half a minute after you order them to evacuate, and literally spin in circles rather than retreat to the nearest active depot. Resources don't always get where they're supposed to go, and many times when they do send them, they'll send far more than needed. My biggest pet peave, however, is the pathing. Your survivors will walk a country mile through zombie infested territory rather than wait an extra second for a barricade to come down. They'll CONTINUE to follow that pathing as long as they're on the same task, even if the barrier is removed. This can often leave you rooting for the zombies, because the survival instincts of these lemmings is somewhere in the negative.
Other suggestions:
1) Rather than allocate 11 units to 1 sniper tower, train up survivors to make them dedicated snipers & allow them to be upgraded. In general, your people should get better skilled as the game goes on.
2) Fix Pathing.
3) DON'T LOCATE ITEMS ON THE MAP THAT DON'T EXIST. I don't know how many times my survivors have wasted time taking down barricades that were never there to begin with.
