Needs work
Graphics are decent, music is fine, control is crap, wall climbing is not 100%, neither wall jump, and the moveset is really not balanced.
I give a 7, it's unfinished.

For the time put into it.
I've been working on a plat-former myself in game maker. I know this stuff is a pain and a half. For only two days of work, this is pretty damn good. If you put more time and polish into it, probably could be great. The Animations are fine, the physics overall need a lot of work. I would make the main character a bit faster so that dodging attacks can be a bit better, and I'd also experiment with more intelligent A.I. as most of the bad guys seem to wander around as though looking for a misplaced set of keys, rather than paying attention to you as you blow their brains out from half a mile away.

I love the Madness concept, but it seems like a Megaman plat former with the controls and movements you need to at least make an option to change the controls, otherwise great game.
