glitch/bug?
i made it up to what i believe is the end of the game, and there is no final boss... Booster just continually flew on for eternity with just the little birds on screen. I never got to see the final boss or the icecream :[
Great fun
The gameplay was fun, and you definitely achieved the feeling you were going for, which is impressive for such a subtle concept.
Almost everything about the Pause menu is glitchy (the backgrounds don't pause, neither do some sounds, and occasionally things don't work after you restart), so if you find the time and motivation I'd really recommend reworking it. I'd accidentally mouse offscreen a lot, but it wouldn't be nearly as problematic if the pause feature was more polished.
I want to spend most of my time talking about the positives, but it's hard to elaborate beyond just saying that things were done right. Good job. The ending cutscene was hilariously fitting.
Okay...
First off, the Rachet and Clank reference gave you an instant + 5 stars. I love that series. But I'd like to point out it's called the Vacuum Cannon in one of the games, if I remember right... If not, then yeah, you're right about the name.
That aside, this was a very interesting game. A little heads up about the final boss' Spin of Complete Destruction would have been nice, but what can you do? xD I like the gameplay, and the art and effects were really good.

It's definately called the Suck Cannon in the first two, and that's a way better name than Vacuum Cannon.
Fun but glitchy
Its a nice mix of kirby and a side scrolling shooter which is kinda cool but I wish different things did different attacks and not just the special attack. Like the batteries from the first boss could shoot lightning bolts or battery acid... something a little cooler than a battery which was somehow smaller than the battery you ate originally.
Oh and its glitched a little. If you click too rapidly the screen the dog will bark and get stuck where it is at for a second and then teleport to wherever you moved the mouse to. Kinda sucks and gets you hit sometimes but should be an easy fix.
