meh

gets boring really quik with no increase in difficulty. It never gets harder, and there is no challenge. Needs an explanation on how the badge levels work, and it gets really annoying to have the high score screen come up on every level. Nice original idea, but needs better implementation, namely something to make it challenging.

Very slick and stylish, but a bit confusing

First off, I really liked the aesthetics of this game, you did a great job there. The problem I had with the game was that I didn't know what I was supposed to do. The tutorial tells you basically WHAT to do and HOW to do it, but never gives any indication of WHY. Is the point to eat all of the gems as quickly as possible? Is it to eat them in some specific order so as to maximize the number of points you get? Am I supposed to string the gems so that the different colored one is at the end of the chain, or does that even make a difference?

Maybe I just misunderstood the tutorial entirely or missed a section that explains all this, but these are things that I need to know if I am going to actually play the game, rather than just arbitrarily clicking on things and hoping that the next cool explosion happens somehow.

But also arbitrary and irritating. It's never clearly explained just when the time for making and eating chains runs out. Sometimes, you can go on eating for some time. Others, the round ends almost as soon as you wake up. It's fine if the rounds don't all have consistent length. There just needs to be an explanation for why this is, and what we can do to influence it.

I didn't get it...

Cool music and visual aspects but the gameplay just didn't grip me at all.
