Unique and Original

vERY great and original game! I love the concept. The music is very soothing. The game play gets a bit repetitive but I like the fact that you are able to morph into any animal you want. The animation is above average. The challenges are quite easy. The story line is decent. Not a bad game overall. It had me entertained for a bit. Good job!

Nicely done.

I like the game play, and the music goes well with the concept. The controls work fine, and I see no reason to give it a lower rating simply because it requires a tad bit of skill to get things just right; you can jump over the flames fine, regardless of the small delay of jump, and I didn't use the trick of up-and-over - it works fine as you would expect to do it, even if it does take a few tries. Besides, challenge and enigmatic quality are things that make puzzle games fun. So long as it is actually doable, I enjoy a good challenge. ^.^ From a dreamlike setting, the story and setup of the lines as you advance through the game is quite well done. I think I enjoyed the music most of all. ^_^ Good job on this.

Great story, frustrating gameplay.

I liked the story in this piece, and I liked the whole, changing to suit the environment, but there was one cripplying flaw that came to near the end of the game: that you had to start over to the very beginning if you made the slightest mistake.

In some areas, this can be painstakingly frustrating were the player just accidentally mistime his final jump until the door to the next level came to him/her. If that happened, then the player would have to restart all of his work he had done previously. I was on the verge of moving on from this game onto another piece by the final level.

The mechanics in the jumping made the hit detection in the flames go everywhere. If I was close to beating the level and if I accidentally slip on the ledge, BOOM, restart the level.

Checkpoints are a must in games that have a lot of trial and error components in them.

In the end, I present you with a 7. The story was great and the music really helped to evoke that feeling of loss, but the gameplay at times really killed the experience.

Beautiful

Lovely game, so heartbreakingly sad. A bit frustrating at points, where getting the animal or the man to the right point was too hard (died far too many times, heh), but all in all, a great game. The music goes so well with it, and you can feel the sadness in it.

Jeez

Man, coudn't you put some more checkpoints? I hate when i die in the middle of the stage and came back to the begining. =/

7/10
Just for the annoyance.
