Yet again, I find myself disappointed with these games.
I mean yeah, the graphics and gameplay were good, I can't argue. But but I found the layout and upgrading section a little more confusing than it needed to be. It took me ages how to work out how to use spells, and I found that you didn't get nearly enough money after each battle to effectively combat again. Then there was the annoying uber-combo (which Jamessaintcross pointed out) which gave you easy wins. And then I learned that there wasn't a "Hold ground" option. it was forwards and backwards only. Again. This is what, in my opinion, let's this game down. You can't get 20 archers and tell them to stop in the middle of the map while you rebuild your forces. The whole structure got really repetitive and the whole mob-hack-slash thing really is boring.
In my worse moods I'd tell you off because again you've done exactly the same as your pre-quels. You've just added some more features. I think (judging by some comments) the majority like your games but are getting real sick of the same thing and really want you to change things round a bit. Try a Warfare 1917 style. Change the era. Make a customizable army and hero. I don't know. But I do know I won't be playing this series again until there's something fresh about it.
