Reviews for "Bubble Tanks Arenas"

it needs some balancing

the game itself is awesome! but it needs to be more balanced. its way to easy to compleete the main game. the speed of the tanks and the bullets could have bin set up cus the game feels so slow that i almost get bored! make the speed more like in buble tank 2. the new features is a great add to the game and i cant wait to see them in action in buble tank 3.

sound

the game was good but it had the worst music i have ever heard even worse the bon jovi

A bit too bland and quite unbalanced.

Alright, let me be blunt here, this game was dissapointing. I loved the original bubble tanks game because of you choosing one path and continuing on it and the fact that where ever you go, there's a challenge but if you choose your path smartly you can dodge around those.

Bubble Tanks Arenas made me feel like a rat in a steel corridor being ordered to eat five pieces of cheese before moving on. Where as the original Bubble Tanks feels like a circle this is just a straight line.

Level three proved to be quite the pain in the ass to me since I picked symmetrical and moving my two turrets too far apart causing me to hit nothing at all. I know this is my mistake and I shouldn't blame you for it, but damn.
To get the two turrets at all I needed to pick a "huge" balloon base which made me wonder how large the remaining guns will be. I also hated that there was a giant and awesome gun just staring you in the face as it laughs at you for not having enough ''gun points''.

Those mine-layers were also a pain in the ass since in the last room (or just the last part of the damn corridor) there were three pieces of brie laying down moldy cheese and since they're so hard to kill they leave a lot of mines. This wouldn't be a problem if they just dissapeared when the brie's dead but noooo, you gotta eat all the pieces of cheese first. And there's three pieces of brie so there's moldy cheese everywhere. I know that you're supposed to dodge them but that's pretty hard when you're the size of the fucking moon on ice skates.

Finished it, finally

Bubble tanks, the original, was a great game. This is just a decent game, though.
Customization, while a nice surprise, lets you build very broken things. Like, placing as many mega cannons as you can at the edge of the class 4 bubble, then just scooting on through.
What really held this game back is the pacing. It's so slow! As said before, having to clean up the tiny no-threat enemies really adds to the time spent in a bubble, and detracts from the action.
Everything has waaaaay too much health, usefull upgrades are too rare; at one point i was convinced i was doing no damage to a ship because i'd been shooting it continuously with my highest DPS weapons, because nothing was happening. It's a shame enemy tanks don't devolve as they lose health, because that stopped them spamming up the feild, and gave you a sense of progress.
And was having that 'not enough points' error take up so much time a good idea? No. Place a part slightly off-centre, and you have to sit through a redundant message on an inactive screen, every time.

I did finish the game, but looking back, I really shouldn't have. So much time gone.

The overall concept was nice, but the actual gameplay holds it back.

GREAT GAME!

Maybe it is too easy but its fun, long and addictive.
