Reviews for "Arrival In Hell 2"

this is a great game much better then the original

spacemariner, the name "sealed door" covers both the door And the vent, just click it and the character will do the actions too

Very nice

Got to say I enjoyed this. Got better from the first. I got to say I really didn't like how you changed it from the first design to this design but it definintly made things more creepy. Thing that creeped me out was crazy (you know who I mean).

Anywho, I hope there's a third one. Mostly cause of the end (or ends).

well.....

im stuck at the part where you have to "put the propane tank in the airvent to kill the first beast"
problem: i run my mouse over the vent and around the vent it the game lists it as the "sealed door" so unless theres another vent i cant complete the game

A definite improvement, but still not quite there

*you pick up a plastic bag*

You: Fuck yeah! I always wanted one of these!

Boy, I'd love to hand this guy a whole box of ziplocs and just watch him lose his shit!

Joking aside, though, there's no doubt that this is an improvement over the first. The larger environment was much welcome, especially after the incredibly confining 5-6 room environment of the last game. I mean, I know you were in a prison cell block, but still. The attempt to elaborate upon the story and origins of the beast was also appreciated. However, almost all of the problems found in the first game, are found here. The character is slow to walk across areas, the voice acting, you've already heard about again and again, the story is still barely there at all and you have to fiddle with the talk/pick up/ see buttons quite a bit to get the action you want sometimes. I thank you for sharing your work with us, the bravery needed to display your creations so publicly is to be commended. However, in my own personal opinion, I still can call this no more than decent. Once you get all the endings, there's really nothing to draw you back to play it again. As I said, it is still an improvement from the last and there are some signs of an attempt to make a truly good piece of work. For this reason, I give you a 6 out of 10.

Also, SPOILER ALERT, I had an issue with the ending. You left the flying beast alive and well, and yet it doesn't even attempt to attack the helicopter on its way in or out? I know it's blind, but it can still hear and it's been established that the beasts don't differentiate from prisoner or anyone else. Come to think of it, that beast should have been a great menace to the main character, yet it only appeared when the plot needed it. *shrugs*

I'm really amaze that you played the game, got the 3 endings and still can say that... but yeah thats your opinion though...

Amazing sequel

I remember playing the first one along time ago, and it was really fun! But with that aside, let's review this thing.

Pros: The camera (it makes everything feel more open, especially outside)
gore (me like gore long time)
Graphics (Definitely an improvement over the original, there's a lot of attention to detail in this!)
Alternate endings (gives the game replay value...which i like :D)
Chuppa (i love that little psycho, glad he's back)
Puzzles (they where very well put together, made you think)

Cons: The Dialog choices (I miss those...it gave the player more interactivity with the story)
Glitches (Sometimes your character walks through walls or get's hung up on some of the scenery)

Overall: A great improvement of the original, and am hoping you make another...cheers :)
