Reviews for "Loved"

awesome

this is one of the greatest casual games. the voice almost symbolizes a parent raising a child. if u obey then the game is easy and clear. if you disobey the game is difficult and is almost completely pixelated. good job.

It made me feel...

... i don't know, is there a name for such a feeling? Only the videogame "The void" could make me feel strange like this. There was that exitment for what awaits me at the end of this game... but also I was a little bit afraid of the unknown. First I made everything except that what he/she/it was telling me. The pixels kinda scared me, everything became so confusing and, like, I don't know. At the end I felt like I betryed "it". As I played through a second time and followed every order, the design became so interesting and "it" loved me and I felt like "Wow... it really does" and that made me feel good. It made me feel... loved.

(Chill...)

Again this is a game thats vary deed and religious and dosen't seem that would do too well in new grounds but I guess I can be surprised from time to time, this game can cover many subjects like religion, abusived relationships, and yearning for the prise of some one doing what ever they tell you to. Erie 10/10 Keep doing more.

Loved(!) it.

Artistic and authentic. Beautiful in all of it's simplicity. Calming, yet unsettling. Dark with a shade of light (now that's a strange idea.)

I only wished that the character would be something less... tangible. In an ethereal story (I'm avoiding the word ´game´. It just doesn't fit this.) like this, I think, the character shouldn't look like a overweight, badly sunburnt pikachu with it's tail cut off...

But that's just nitpicking. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this.

And please, don't make a sequel. The story is perfect just the way it is now, unique, one of a kind.

Deep

Well, since most of the reviews state basically what I'd say, I might as well focus on the game itself. I found it really entertaining, and of course, simple but deep. All of the details (or the lack of details) made the game really interesting. The gameplay was fun - except for the really little spots that took a few dozen tries, but my lack of ability shouldn't weigh my rating down. I believe you did build something confrontational - the choices I had were many and what I did influenced everything. That actually did make me think, and I found it extremely interesting how you made everything almost related to religion, or at least common sense - if you don't follow what the "voice" says, you probably will survive, but everything begins to blur up. If you do follow it, everything is clear - but you are forced to make many mistakes and go through many hardships (that ruin all of your hard work). The game's deep, and although I was annoyed at the spikes and the fact that touching close to anything, even barely, will kill you, I don't believe my lack of skills should decrease the number of stars you get. 10/10.
