i have never been more affected from playing a mere game this is not a platformer but it has a moral which is rare since its in newgrounds

Sad. I think I see it though.
Personally, I think it's trying to tell you, the moral is to be yourself. When you do what someone tells you to do, it gives them more hold over controlling you. When you do what someone tells you to do, it gives them more hold over controlling you. Just do what you feel right, and if someone loves you, good. If they don't, so be it.

I love how you can obey, and the world gets more 'ugly' as the person is controlling what you do.
(To maxafin): The boxes go away the more you obey.
Or you could do the opposite of what it tells you and the world gets more colorful as you set yourself free. But the person says you hate them. I think it's a very wonderful game, and I love the story.

I loved the game. it was fun to play. i understood the theme of controlling, but i'm not sure i understand the actual message.
