but u are missing the point. jim already has power; he rescued the cat, helped the old lady and gave money to the hobo, and only one in a position of power (over) could help. and its a pretty bad example anyway. sorry, pretty nice animation tho

I knew it was already a bad example, and I kinda proved the opposite of what I intended - The idea was to show that power is neutral; good people use power for good, and same with evil. I kind of disproved that by showing that good people can be evil.
This is storytelling at my worst.

Well, it is true what he is saying, and it's a decent flash.
As to answer Funker42's question, we have Elisabeth, Kanxi and Lincoln. To name just a few. Funny part is, the best and most compassionate leaders in world history were often arabs. Saladin, Suleiman, the list goes on and on. Before the crusades, at least, arab society was one of acceptance.
Nice animation, but...
So, a 7 out of 10. Your animation was smooth, nice. But your point was lost on me. Was he truly a good guy? What power was he given? Why the fuck would he mug the old lady and cat after being given that mysterious power? The fact is he wouldn't, if he were a closet asshole he'd show it in more profound ways. Your story ultimately had no point and proved nothing, it was simply an exposition of an idea that wasn't properly fleshed out. Your style is great, I look forward to seeing more!

The point was to show that power could be used in both ways; to be good or to be bad.

The song was already extended TWICE to make it as long as it is now, so I had to apply certain restrictions to the animation.
