It was the way I converted it unfortunately. I animated it in toonboom and it really exports things best as .mov. I then converted that to swf which caused the grainyness

You timed it all so perfectly. I mean...going from sad to an hero was a bit disorienting, but it was a great balance of making me want to cry, but then like.. "Yay! Reunion!" Which was kinda cute but also like...meant he was dead?

Though some of the pictures you use are questionable. Like the one with the graves. It was a nice animation and worked well with the music.
