Reviews for "Planet Noevo"

Worm part too hard

Good graphics and all, but not enough firepower to deal with the worm and his little fuckbuddies. Fix it. I am so fucking angry right now.

This game looks really good.

Unfortunately for some reason, I was unable to play. Even though I had the latest version of flash player I updated it anyway, and I don't use an adblocker. I get to do everything up to and on the main menu, except when I click Start Game and go to the next menu (about Story Mode/Arcade Mode etc.) I can't click on anything - there are no buttons except Music/FX, and I cant find any keyboard keys that will move me onto the game. It doesn't look like many other people are having this issue, but I'm really hoping to be able to play this. Maybe you can look into it.

it is fun but the fist boss sucks

the first boss is too hard and those stupid crawling things are like 2 times harder than they should be

Aims for mediocrity and succeeds

Planet Noevo is not a complex game at all, and the only reason not to skip story (except there really is no story) mode and go straight to arcade is the worm boss (which really isn't that hard if you know it's coming).

I have to admit that it is a pretty interesting concept for a game. However, gameplay that consists of standing still to collect resources and then returning to your base and letting it (automatically) kill all the baddies for you is extremely boring. It doesn't help that the farther away you get, the longer it takes to dig.

Game balance is atrocious - it's fine at the beginning, but eventually your base becomes practically useless since the auto rocket launcher does ten times as much damage as the highest cannon upgrade. The gap between the two rocket launchers is also ridiculous and doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Gradual progression is good, giant leaps are bad.

Planet Noevo could be greatly improved by secondary objectives (securing additional bases for colonization, destroying bug nests to make the planet *safe* for colonists, rescuing survivors from other crash landed ships, etc.), achievements, a better UI that displays more information about stats, more upgrades (including weapons and armor); it's very basic and seems like a good starting point, but not actually a finished product.

Once you get to level 27, all your stats cap but you continue to gain stat points to distribute... completely worthless stat points. That's pretty sloppy game mechanics right there, and just one more thing wrong with Planet Noevo.

Hmm...

After i clicked play, the game sat on a picture of half a firey planet, so i didnt get to play, but by the look of the other reviews the game is pretty good. good work!
