Reviews for "Planet Noevo"

Nice job

Unlike what seems to be a majority of the reviewers, I liked the fact that you had to destroy the boss yourself. It allows you to continue playing beyond the ten days. Had the turret been able to kill the worm, my base would have done all the work, while I sat there and watched. You can upgrade the base enough so that it self repairs faster than it gets hurt, making the player challenge themselves against an enemy stronger than them. Plus, who wants to not partake in the final boss battle of any game?

nice

it was a little bit difficult but i kill the worm with a very easy way :
1 rocket launcher
2 ultimate armor
3 30 vitality 30 digging
4 a lot a health kits

Planet Mundane..

Planet Noevo utilizes one thing, Hiding. Anything else you do is useless after day 20 of Arcade mode. I had the best armor, maxed out Armor, Vitality, Gunsmith, And Dexterity Stats, and those bugs made me, my base, my weapons, and my armor look bad. The only redeeming quality of this game that I find fun is the whole "Escape" back to your base. If it weren't for that, I'd probably have quit after day 2. Unlike most people I bypassed story mode completely, I hear something about a Giant Worm? Bah, Auto Rocket launcher could tear it to shreds. But I couldn't get the Auto Rocket launcher until about Day 23, because it leaps about 5x in price from the regular rocket launcher. A general upgrade system would've been better then just changing your weapons. Seeing as how this guy doesn't have a magical engineering degree from Space Harvard I find his whole "Let's pull a ACR54 from out of thin air" thing unappealing. I do find the Digging system neat, but after you get your digging maxed, the only thing that becomes a challenge is the outer rim, and it's hard to get there when exploding centipedes from Ares him self call upon fire and brimstone to rain on your parade. Overall, it's basic, somewhat catchy and pretty easy to pick up and play. Pick up and replay? Maybe not. But it's a start to something that could be fantastic. If only my base had a window for me to shoot out of *Hint* *Hint*

Turret fail.

I survived by scavenging for materials to upgrade my bunker, only defense against the night. On the day I was to be rescued, a giant worm burst from the ground and my valiant turret... ignored it in favor of the little bugs scurrying around? WTF? Massive fail. If you want it to be possible to never upgrade you equipment at all, please make it so that they don't then have to spend a ludicrous amount of time scavenging the far edges of the map and running from little bug in order to kill the boss who is ignored by all the defenses you built up until then.

Quite Enjoyable

I didn't waste my time on intermediary upgrades, just went straight for 2nd best turret, then best base. I didn't bother at all with armor, and only fabricated a weapon at the very end. Was a little surprised my turret didn't attack the giant wurm, but nothing a little rocket launcher couldn't take care of with a little dodging in and out of base.

All in all, I enjoyed it!
