the humour isn't as funny as the others the whole prenouncing ninja neenja thing was a bit...well.... not really funny
the animation is crispy perfect the backgrounds nice scottish accent was genius

No, but on a serious note, I am really liking this series! It is very nicely animated, smooth with clean animation. It's beautiful enough to work as a TV show, kind of one of those you would see in a Saturday morning cartoon. I'm not trying to excessively compliment, I mean it; the quality is beautiful.
The sound is crystal clear, and helps individualize each character for who he or she is, so that is very well done. Personally, the weird and shortly lived thief guy's voice what way too nosy, but that might have been what you were aiming for.
Overall, it is very well put together piece. Good animation, crystal sounds and an intriguing storyline. However, if I could make any suggestion, I'd say make sure you have BG music in almost all scenes. Only remove it when it seems useful, like to add suspense. The last scene could have definitely used some at least during some of it. Also, just an idea I thought I would share, try changing perspectives more often.
The one that stuck out to me the most was the one where you are just watching the lady write something. I think an angle change to an overhead view would have been very cool, as she dramatically turns to the front page (BG music changing accordingly), and then starts to draw, i.e., the first half of a rune or something, and then as shes finishing, the angle changes to her grinning and evil face, just before the angle resets to what you had in this flash, where she rips out the page.
I hope you don't get annoyed by my review or suggestions, I really like the series, and I just thought I would share my output.
