It took a while for me to get the hang of it but once I did I was dominating. One thing I would like to see is more active upgrades like viral abilities (you can take over opposing team's cells) and turret cells. Overall I liked it. Can't wait for 2.0
Actually, I did want to add in stuff like viral infections and phagocytosis, but the version of Flash I was using (almost 5 years old) just wasn't up to it. Maybe next time, though. Thanks for the review!
Great game...but
Really good game, was expecting it to just be like spore at first. Love the variation in evolution and randomness, great touch.
The main problem with it though was the controls, I found them a little unmanageable, clicking a group of cells to attack sometimes just unselected and I found some would sit there attacking thin air while other refused to work... unless I accidentally evolved a few retarded cells I think it might be a bit glitchy :P Oh and one more thing.. what the hell are those clouds of poison? Couldn't see how to make them and they wiped out my whole colony before i could get them to move out of it...
Interesting.
The game has a basic idea that is fun to play with but in the way that it is explained you get lost or you feel its too wordy and want to get to the game. It is fun when after you take the time to read each little thing and understand it. It could use a very hard to explain concept were it should be more basic yet also more detailed and how each mutation affects its type or color. I had a lot of fun playing it but, this game is no "find the controls get some tips play." type of game if you make an updated version take what i said in to consideration.
I was thinking about not putting in the little bubbles that describes all the changes when you update DNA for this reason. It might be worth it, I guess...

i loved the game but the only problem is I think its a bug but...
whenever i start a match, i chose visible map and there is an infinite respawning of the enemy's cells. and it just doesnt stop, so i cant play the game fully because there is no winning. i start with just 3 cells and he starts with 30+
please fix this bug and it will be 10/10
