a perfect game
I loved every minute of it, and cant wait to see where steambirds is going next. only thing I would have liked is an editor to make your own scenario, and to pick what gear you get for the missions. but that doesn't matter since the game is so well thought out. I hope I can make games this good someday

I am seriously impressed with this game; controls, sound, graphics, story, engine - it's all good. Add some things suggested by reviewers (upgrades, plane choices, etc) in addition to the stuff you're already working and it could be a true internet classic. Thanks for the great game and keep up the good work!

This is really good! I normally am not too much of a turn based battle system, but here...it's pulled off really well! Albeit, some more variety in attack and control over when exactly your placnes could attack would be a nice feature (like being able to tell one plane to shoot mid flight, somehow). Asforementioned, an upgrade tree would be EXCELLENT for this kinda game: give you a variety of weapons, and allows you to customize each plane as the timeline goes on with newer weapons.
I found this incredibly enjoyable (well, haven't beaten the Behemoth level yet), and I shall indeed favorite this! 5, fav'd, and you're on my fav' programmers. Looking forward to what you can do!
