Hmm Classical HUH !

Hey Maestro,

I can just sit here with my mouth open, and dont say much but that doesn`t help u now would it :P

Now i played some Zelda& other games, but not reffering to them its a tune that can seriously being used in a Game.
The thrill wich is coming up very slow, and withso much feeling to it.... Just Great !!

Only the piano is too my taste a bit blunt, if u had used a chorus over it, it would sound better...thats just my advice ;-)

Amazing structure here..

greets DJMOntana

MaestroSorrow responds:

Thank you DjMontana, every song I make, I make with an image in my head, I never EVER make a song without first a story to tell, otherwise, in my opinion, it is not a song, but merely an empty shell.

The piano was a bit blunt you say eh? Interestingly enough I thought that being blunt gave it an unexpected, pleasent surprise. You know, life never hits you in planned ways ;).

Thanks for the review DJMontana.

mm... i loves the strings....

You know, it may be just me, but i think your styles changed a bit... Not in a bad way, I like it. It just seems you used to like the sudden, hard sounds, but your recent melodies are soft... Maybe I', just thinking too much. I love this piece, a beautiful use of strings, and the piano and voices in the back really make the piece. 3 thumbs up!!!

MaestroSorrow responds:

I have seasons like the Earth. I have, harsh sounding season, then soft... then harsh... then soft, etc. So far, i've just hit my soft season ;). I'll probably get back to those wonderful brass "BRAAAAAH's!" soon enough.

As for those three thumbs, get that third one checked out, I had a third thumb, and had to cut it off shortly after it tried to make light conversation with me.

Thanks for the review ^^.

Hauntingly Beautiful

A hauntingly beautiful piece. From listening to your pieces, i'm going to guess that you love the strings.
I may be wrong, but from listening to your music I can almost feel the passion and admiration you have for them. (If I am wrong now I will sound like a total idiot).
Your comment and music created a vivid image in my mind and one can only wonder how "she" died and the life "they" had togethar.
It is most definately a tragical scene however and once again I salute you with your outstanding display of emotion, feeling, and passion.

MaestroSorrow responds:

Your guess of me loving the strings, a complete understatement. If Strings was a person i'd stalk them... all the time... with or without restraining order.

I'd paint you a picture MusicalSerenity, but I don't like giving people a image, I like to see what image they get. Go nuts ^^.

Thank you for the review.

As always

Brilliant as always.

The only comment I'd have is the tremolo strings were more distracting than they should have been. Perhaps a different set of strings would have worked better (although the strings you chose did help create a darker feel -- they were just a bit too much at times).

Overall it's very well done, and the title fits perfectly.

MaestroSorrow responds:

Different strings eh... I did try them, yet they didn't give me that "cold, depressed" feeling that the tremola strings seemed to give. I suppose it could work in this sense to, it would be stupid of me to say this is the only way to portray something. I will have to mess around with it, and see how else it could be portrayed.

Thank you for your review theinfernumflame, it gave me a good deal to think about.

very well made

thou i would beg to differ on some parts :3

the piano chords near the beginning seems a bit rough, this sounds a delicate piece, so balance is a must, thou u correct it near the end

as for other parts, superb, u kept the theme running

an instrument does *not* nessessary hav to play its ypical role X], wonder how many ppl hugged the ground after hearing this :p
cheerios~

MaestroSorrow responds:

For the people who hugged the ground... i'm sorry... the ground tastes horrible, I should know...

I didn't think the piece should be all delicate, I mean, graves are rarely a place for rest as it would suggest. There is always turmoil around them near the beginning, no?

Thanks for the review Lone, means a good deal to me ^^.
