Reviews for "LARRY: Doug-Out"

Fun but..

It gets too difficult too fast :(

Was pretty fun..

Until I noticed that even with significant weapon upgrades, Doug has too much health, takes too much from the barrel every time he dips in and he dips in WAY too fast. By the time the bartender finishes his animation, doug has already dipped and moved on in some cases. Didnt matter how fast I clicked on some, the fact was he dipped faster than the animation allowed for a player to react to. This tells me either this is intentional and was done to make the game last longer (money sink) or its an oversight and this game was not properly play tested. Either way, its simply frustrating, and not fun at all. Plus, I usually had to click multiple times just to initiate an attack on doug.

On the upside, I liked the voices, art direction, and the mug fill game (really its 2 mini games toghether, but it was amusing enough to keep me playing).

Fix the doug sequences and you could have some fluid and challenging gameplay. Good luck on future flashes!

Not really feeling it.

After a short time it was too difficult to enjoy. McSweeney was unresponsive and took to long to reach Doug even when right on top of him. In the later days a minor miss would result in either no money or an empty keg.

lol

lol I found when it started going really fast I would just close my eyes and click works very well near the end cause underfill is like $250 and perfect is like 600 and if you upgrade the kegs it resets the refill cost to low again. Rather than deal with the drunk guy id just have 1 barrel in the store house and refill it right before he comes cause he comes at regular intervals. There doesn't really seem to be a way to win tho so I gave up.

Its an good graphics but there is not much to it so in the end its a meh game.

It's frustrating, but pretty good.

I agree somewhat with what Contempt say's regarding how frustrating it can be, but overall, it's entertaining to say the least.

Pros:
-Good art quality
-Good sound quality
-Addicting

Cons:
-A little frustrating at the later levels/stages/whatever
-Irish accent could be better
-Hit registry on Doug needs to be better
-Can't kill Doug
