Reviews for "Blasting Agent"

pretty good.

very solid for this kind of game. My biggest problem was with the second boss where I seemed to keep getting stuck on his back every time he touched me. Really Annoying.

bitpimp responds:

That is a terrible flaw. I don't know how we missed such a short "respawn" period. I have to take the blame for that miss.

Glad you dug the rest of it though!

Glitchy... I hope.

I can NOT be the only one who's experiencing this: when the menu is brought up (focus loss or death), there's a good probability that any click - even on the continue/menu buttons, it brings up the "gimme5games" website. This got very old, VERY fast. I'm using Chrome for this, if that makes a difference.

The other aspects of the game are great, if you can respect them for what they are. But that thing I mentioned put a serious damper on my enjoyment of the game. So I'd advise that get fixed, pronto.

8/10 because that click-thing is sufficiently annoying to warrant it.

Great... except for the freezing

Loved it except that, as said below, after the snake boss it froze for me as well. I'm using Safari on a Mac if that has anything to do with it. Also, loved the 8-bit music, glad people with talent do it.

Nice retro game

This is a very well done, retro game. The game balences platfrorming and run and gun gaming very well. The sounds and music sound nice. The controls are well done and I enjoyed the good retro graphics. The only problem is the confusing menu. But this hardly shadows the brilliant gameplay and I am looking forward to a sequal!

A pixelated experince

I'm not really into pixelated games, but I found myself really enjoying this one. It was simple, and easy to play. It's the way I like my games.

While there is plenty to praise about the game, there are also a few complaints about it. The levels in it were to way to easy, even on hard. But, perhaps the biggest complaint would be that there is little replay value after finishing both modes. Perhaps, making the levels bigger, or even putting a timer in the game, could add to it's length and replay value. And I have no idea why the score board was tacked on, because I didn't see much to warrant it, if everything, from treasure to the enemies, were at a certain amount.

Good game, though.
