Anyway, i thought that it was pretty good! I'm not sure what "Tir No Nog" IS exactly, but then again as you make more i'm sure you'll explain it.

i think its stupid how some people seem to be rating it poorly just because you used sprites, specifically MapleStory sprites. I dont see how "what sprites" you use has to do with how you Use them to tell your story. All in all i'd give it a 9/10! (i do agree with marushiru that the music is a little redundent).

Congrats and keep on making flash! (and ignore ugly trolls like KenOno who are just jealous that they cant make flash animations) X3

Nicely done!

Quite a well done sprite animation.

Like some people say the music kinda dragged on, but all in all it was good.
The lip syncing didn't bother me, reminds me of some of the old arcade games. :D

Tir Na Nog is also part of the Welsh mythology, but that isn't a surprise seeing Ireland and Wales share Celtic backgrounds.

Looking forward for Ep 2!

oh no

pleaseplease no pleease nooo! first sprites arnt good (personal opinion, but im sure theres a hefty amount of people who thik this too) but maplestory does Not need propagating >.< i have played it with a friend recently. i regret those wasted hours of my life.

fact is, u made a relatively good job of it (considering you used sprites and maplestory settings). so i will give you 7 for the flash, -3 sprites(yes i despise them THAT much), -1 maple story, +1 atmosphere which was extreme.

the fact that i actually recognized most of the maple story references makes me feel sad :o. im sorry if i really want to draw you away from something if u feel its a good thing, but sprites are cheap, bad, evil, pussy animated and annoying. i am actually struck between hate and admiration. i gave you a 4/5 for the flash and did not deduct any because of my hate, but the review suffered because of it.
sorry if u feel that i am being biased, unfair, mean, stupid and bitchy, but god damn aren't all cynics and critics. and worst of all is a cynical critic (me) sooo, whatcha gonna do.
anyhoo, my advise is to please find another way to put across this story. thanks

I appreciate the comment, but the fact you rated it low just because it was Maple Story is completely and utterly ridiculous. The animation is what you're rating here, not the game it's based on. Some people like to play Maple, and others don't. That is completely fine, but this isn't the game, it's an animation.

mmm pretty good

I'm not a fan of sprites
I hadn't realised that the tale of Tír (there's a fada over the i like so í) na nÓg
was known of outside of Ireland
well animated but it was mostly sprites...and sound was pretty good
perhaps when the text comes up maybe use some beeping or something i dunno
it was very slow paced and it didn't really keep my attention
I didn't really understand what was going on either
maybe a backstory should have been provided or something for people who don't really know what maplestory is ......

there was a majestic white horse in the story of tír na nóg
maybe you should incorporate that into it would be kinda cool

keep it up you need to optimize your sounds and your jpeg quality to keep the filesize low other than that now faults!

Well, for the menu, it's kinda annoying how the sound starts 2 seconds after holding your mouse over the button.

All the animating was pretty good. You should have shown how you got to the area where Gregio (the single guard) was.

Also, either make the lipsync kinda look like they're saying it, or don't do it at all O: You got lazy with that movie clip D:

But yeah, gj :P
