Very anime inspired
It's definitely inspired by recent trends in anime, almost taking directing styles from certain series verbatim. That isn't always a negative. But it doesn't feel original at the same time.
I enjoy your use of music. It delivered a good energy to the animation. (probably the best feature of the flash toon)
Voice acting: The female character's acting is fine. But the male lead's is very forced. It doesn't sound natural when he speaks. It sounds like a guy deliberately speaking low to change the sound of his voice. I would recommend actually trying not to do this. You want your character to have a voice but it doesn't really need a specific voice. Just give him a young man's voice. It doesn't need to be forced.
"Come with me if you want to live". Ok so a girl falls. Lands on a kid and now she suddenly wants this kid to journey with her because if he doesnt, his family dies. Why? First you set the kid up as just an earthling which the girl doesn't remark as important. Now he is important.
It's too sudden. But I do appreciate not having things drawn out unnecessarily.
Last, the characters are just not anything interesting. We've seen the tough, brooding, cold hearted female character who had a tragic experience in the past but learns to let a guy into her heart so she can love again. and we've seen the timid, "um uh", male lead before.
But it's impossible to be original with this anyway. The way your story will truly shine is if you do the unexpected with the characters and develop them in interesting ways. Now ways we've seen copy/pasted on Anime shows.
Great work, though. I will probably check the second episode out. Don't take my criticisms too literally. I know that you are doing this for fun and not professionally.
As far as your tests go, I don't know if you nailed all your goals with this toon but you just might if you keep at it. Always experiment.
