Reviews for "Jerry: The End"

Wow...

This made me laugh. This made be cry. It had it all.

Thank you for the book-end

I'm really glad to see this series come to an end. I have been worried every time a new one came out that it would ruin it for me. This one seemed fitting. It has a better balance of crude humor and genuine tenderness than the rest of the series had. The replaced ending clip made me very happy. I expected the old one and was already kind of heading toward being upset with it. The new one made me feel a lot better about the series as a whole. I'm very satisfied with this installment and the series.

the commentary was epic

Innovative and Independent

What the Jerry series achieves is one of the hardest qualities a series strives for: creating a unique character that, in every respect, seems oddly effortless. Your characterization in the entire series has been heartbreakingly accurate, and yet, rather than giving us depressing videos, you've managed to put an optimistic spin on all of them.
Jerry could be a feature a film, with more scenes, and more refining. Though good luck selling it to Hollywood :P The animation style, although at times quite frugal, is another of the main selling points... it is original, unique, and the faces of each character is striking and can display great emotion.
My only recommendation for this series is to go over the voicework. I didn't like Jerry's voice or Jerry's son's voice in an earlier episode. Yet that's all that could be improved. You created an odd, endearing flash epic, that chronicles the life of one ordinary person doomed to boredom and failure, yet made him special; which is a quality of an intelligent writer.

(so, basically: GJ!)
