There isn't much I can say other than to repeat what a number of other reviews already said. This is just the kind of piece that you don't see often on Newgrounds. The mental edge really gives it power, especially to an old gamer like me. Amazing flash. The last 18.83 years salute you. Man, hard to believe that it's been that long since I got my first console.
My only suggestion is to include a list of games featured in it.

are games that stuff was stolen from. Now you know.

Wow... thought provoking... the message given by this is amazing, especially to a (although not super hardcore...) gamer like me. It's easy to see how this could be applied to anything in your life too, and that's part of what makes an animation like this timeless and gives it a deeper meaning. Kudos to you for making such a brilliant flash. Its nice to see something thats isnt just made for the LOLZ of it and actually makes us think.
And after reading your comments, not only thanks to you, but the people who sort of convinced you to show it to us , the general internet, because, personal as it may be, as you've probably already learned many people can be touched by your work(not literally of course, that would be screwed up).

Surreal
You send such an important message to the right people, in the right way. The music fit in quite well, being slightly dramatic and fast-paced, while still a little boorish and plain, like life. And the thing about the princess seems to send a message of its own...when I re-watched all those chat bubbles(Squares?) again, the thing I thought of was...true love. You may never experience it. Yet you always search for it. And then there was the abrupt end...that makes you sympathize with the man. He was a plain(?) man, just searching for his love...only to embark on a foolish journey that yielded no results, and died miserable and alone, having wasted his life away, searching for something that is near impossible to find. The way you present it in such a fashion appeals to gamers everywhere, and it is gamers that need this flash(In my opinion) the most. To realize that life will flow onwards, and all your time spent on games will be for naught in the end. This flash was surreal...dreamlike...talking about such a serious thing as death while making it seem like it will never happen to you...but making you aware of the fact that you will die. I give it 5/5, and 10/10.
