Reviews for "The Neurotest"

Optical Memory Game

Using movement is definately a new approach to the optical memory. But there are two things that need to be pointed out. First of all beyond the first game there isnt much difference in the sets. And second the remember the letter game can be cheated by putting in the letter and using copy and paste.

VNStudios responds:

An earlier reviewer mentioned the copy and paste issue as well, it is our first game so some issues we didn't see.

pretty good

fun, but rly annoying.

VNStudios responds:

We're happy you played it, but some feedback on what annoyed you would help a lot so in future games we can avoid those issues.

Good, not quite great

It was really pretty fun. I just hated the color section though. I'm not color blind, but I couldn't tell pink from red or blue from purple. Maybe it was the static effects, I don't know.

VNStudios responds:

Glad you liked it, remember it's all in the mind.

good game...

but kind of hard, some of the letters were impossible to see in the background.
5/5

VNStudios responds:

Flash messed up quite a bit during coding so that's probably what caused some bugs.

Pretty Good

Not bad, especially if it really is your first game. It was simple to learn, pretty fun, and (at least in theory) challenging. Unfortunately, two of the stages were rendered trivial by a couple oversights in the design.

* In the second level, you should disable copy & paste. It makes it way too easy.
* The third level is also trivial if you just make yourself stare at the edges of the screen, where you can see the color but not the word. I'd trim in the sparkly background effect to be just behind the word. Or, if you want to make it really nasty, have the background effect be a different color.

VNStudios responds:

Thanks for the tips, we love having people give input! We were just so tired of working on this we gave up on debugging but next time our game will be better.
