Reviews for "The Insanity"

Very creepy!!

I liked this a lot, finally a flash game that actually freaked the hell out of me! Great imagery and sounds! However a couple suggestions:

Create a dialog box below the field of vision. I find most of the vision is block by the dialog. Also the "click anywhere to skip dialog, click and drag the box, etc' blocks a lot too, possible show that only the first time.

Have different mouse graphics for different actions. For example, when clicking around the room im not sure what action will take place before i click on something. For example, have the cursor turn into an eye when its over something that will zoom in to investigate, legs when hovering over something that will move to the next room, a hand when its hovering over something to click on. And a exclamation mark when its an appropriate action, for example the wardrobe to hide in when the 'creature' first is coming in and you need to hide.

I find without a system like this in time sensitive events (such as HIDE!) i simply click everywhere in panic mode.

With all that said, you have created a very very very creepy game! Now its simply a task of tinkering with the interface.

very nice

a nice twist on the point and click horror genre, liked the ending too. keep up the good work!

lol

why there's a fucking monkey in the main screen?

sick

I wanted to know the rest :<
Piece of art I must say.

A game about Furfags

nah only joking
Really enjoyed it, tbh i prefer these adventure games u make over that mmo.
Saw game was probably the worse part about this.
May i say that the puzzle aspects seemed a bit easy, perhaps they were just more logical than other pnc games. also transitions between areas took a bit too long and is kinda frustrating.

You are right about the rest though- the puzzles ARE pretty simple and that was actually intentional. Basically I wanted people to enjoy the story all the way through without getting stumped too much to go on, and so I neglected to use some of the craftier puzzles I had in mind for it. Give people a taste for this type of game and if it builds any kind of following you can bet I'll make a sequel, and that it will be much trickier to complete.
