Reviews for "The Insanity"

Game

It's great and the grafics and storyline are fantastic.I have played five times but it still gives me shivers.

EvilKris responds:

lol..wait till you see the next part.

Awesome

I really enjoyed the game. I love point and click/escape the room games. I find the most that try to add combat into it end up doing so poorly, and I was worried this game would suffer that fault as well, but it was done perfect for the style of game play. Also the scenery/graphics were perfect and so were the sounds and music (except for the credits.. but that's my opinion).
My only complaint is that the number code for the door was difficult to read. I found it soon enough but it was very... Is that a 3? no.. I think it's a 5.. wait.. it's a 2. so might want to make them a little more readable if you make a sequel or other games with 'hidden' codes.

was aright

coulda just smashed the fish tank and let the fish drown...the whack a mole battle system was a bit lame. nice story concept though

EvilKris responds:

Battle System is gone in the second game.

meh

i liked it and finished it. but the fights took me forever to finish every fight. please add more time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Ending (Spoilers censored, don't worry)

This is certainly different to most of the other Flash horror games I've played, not in a bad way though... In a good way if anything. Especially the graphics, which I'm presuming were done by using photographs edited in Photoshop or something, as opposed to using standard vector brush graphics. The dialogue system was interesting too, as well as the fighting system. The first fight (with the ****** after ******ing the ********) made me jump, though the effect was significantly lessened because the combat instructions were obscuring its face, and I had all the time in the world to read what to do before entering the fight. Its face was still pretty creepy and distracted me a little during the fight. I also found that the sudden fights later on weren't shocking at all because again the instructions were obscuring the thing's faces and I had unlimited time to prepare. Also, I liked the little minigame with the *******, reminded me of the SAW movies. I died a few times on it though before figuring out how it worked. I think the best and most shocking parts are towards the end when the ******** with the ******** cuts ********* in half, then ****** you and each fight with it starts with an engine rumble and a psychotic scream. Damn he was hard to beat but I managed it. The ending was great too, I never saw it coming... Well until the ****** mentioned "you should know every ***** in fact". Great work on making this, and I'm looking forward to The Insanity 2!

EvilKris responds:

Glad you're looking forward to the second one because it's has just been finished and should be out shortly. There's more of the SAW influence, plus a little bit of 'The Descent' and 'The Fly' thrown in.
Also the premise of the game is that you are not told how to do ANYTHING, you'll have to figure things out as they happen- just like as if it were real.
