annoying
the game is fun and simple. the old style black and white is cool, but the silent film pop up words get annoying after awhile. maybe if you could chill out on how many times they pop-up.

I give a six for a good idea and effort.
However, the captions, while cute and reminiscent of Chaplinesque comedy at first, gets old after you can't walk across a field for getting coins. Make the captions much rarer, and it'll be a great game.

The captions got really annoying a quarter of the way through. but it wasnt that shabby of a game all in all.
Interesting concept.
Nice idea and very good design. But as many have already said it's not very well executed. Only thing you need to do is remove or replace the titles that keep appearing all the time and you're all set. Maybe the titles could appear only when the character has something to say, and the rest of the time you could use those comic book bubbles.
