nice idea
cool style, i enjoy it. music is nice too, but the pop ups when you jump, collect coins or do anything except walking becomes anoying very fast :D

This makes me wonder...would platformer games have been like this if they invented them in the early 30s?
seems to work but
I get the joke with the text but well make it appear randomly or every 4th or 5th time you jump, get a coin or get hurt so that it doesn't get too annoying or break up the game too much. Seems to function correctly and the music is a good fit for the game if a bit of a short loop.
Love to play the platforms
This game would get a ten if it wasn't fo the dialog showing up everytime you hit the jump button and everytime you get a coin it ,for me, gets to much quickly.

I see that people complain about the pop-up, but I know what you're doing! I noticed there's no sound effects, like in the real 1924! It's like I'm playing a video game from that time. But good job on making it realistic! Keep going dude!
