Happy Madness Day!

This was definitley unique for a Madness flash or any kind of flash! I thought the designs were very interesting (I haven't played "Knights Of The Old Republic", so I wouldn't recognize these designs as they were probably used in the game and it was hard to understand how this went with Star Wars) and the action scenes were as great as any Madness Combat flash.

DutchinLive responds:

Awesome games, you should really play them, you won't regret it, trust me!

I must say I'm amazed!

Probably one of the best Madness-related animations for this Madness Day 2009!
The graphics are pretty, the sound is great, and the animation is very fluid, which adds up to a very enjoyable movie!
The reference to the cigarette-car crash from one of the other Madness (I think 3 or 4, or was it from Maximum Ninja) really made me laugh!

DutchinLive responds:

Madness Apotheosis, I always liked that scene, and it was an honor to replicate it! Glad you got a giggle!

luv it

shame about the credits, loved the way u worked with the force abilities and lightsabre combat, was inspiring. The major battle at the end started of good but ended up the dullest part of the animation. Some facial expression and a bit more tension might have livened it up a bit.

DutchinLive responds:

I know i know! I wanted to change a lot of things, that being one of them, but I found myself still animating with no sleep an hour before I had to leave to go to work, a 3 day living away from home job, 4 hours drive away. Lol. Fail time management!

Not bad

Lots of good Madness tidbits tossed in, but the fighting was a little lacking at times. The timing was just a little off. Also, why did they all have swords, and why didn't the lightsaber (a beam of suspended energy) not cut through them?

It did have some nice bits though. I liked when the bad guy launched the blue dude up into his lightsaber, also when the ships flew by and splattered that one-half blue dude.

DutchinLive responds:

Mandalorians used vibroblades, swords which use ultrasonic vibration to increase cutting effectiveness. Using a cortosis weave, the swords could parry attacks from lightsabers.

Great

Thanks for keeping the physics of the mandolorians blades to spec with the actual story line. Some people would think lightsabers cut through, but no, manodolorians are smart.

But they are still silly little suit peoples. x3 Which you pointed that out too.
