As others have said, the ending may have had the intention of being open-ended and up for interpretation; but it does not work here. This instead feels like the entire thing was cut at the height of the story. I do love open-ended endings when they're done right, it's something I loved about series like Twilight Zone when it did it. But this? It feels like if something like Hamlet ended before the final siege, or Breaking Bad just ended during that one particular scene.

in the end it doesnt matter you do, where you work, what your life style is, its just the choice, would you endure it for the one you love, or try to find an escape, this is what this story shows, and this fellow learned and had the chance to change it all.

Good Concept
I love the concept, the ending where he chose love over his own selfish wish was a great meesage. I'm looking forward for future projects.
